Sufficient stamina to cover 4 km of distance in 35 minutes
Day 1 :Dehradun to Sankari (1920 m), Drive 198km/8-9 hours
Your journey will start from Dehradun. In the early morning from Dehradun railway station or ISBT bus stand you will be dropped to Sankri Drive. During the drive to Sankari from Dehradun, you will experience amazing scenic places like Nainbagh, Kempty waterfalls, etc.
Day 2 :Sankri to Seema (2400 m), Drive 11km/1 hr + Trek 12km/5-6 hrs
Sankri to Taluka By taxi after having breakfast. Same day you will be starting trekking to Chelugad/seema and then at night staying in tents. Seema is mainly a small settlement just opposite Osla River. After experiencing the scenic place, you will surely be energized for trekking.
Day 3 :Seema to Rainbasera (3100 m) via Devsu Bughyal (3030 m); Trek 9 km/ 4-5 hrs.
It is moderate to difficult slope and you can see the confluence of Har ki Dun. You will get the opportunity to see mixed scenery of meadows & forest. As you will move towards Devsu Bughyal, you will see that the path ascends & gets steep. You will explore stunning sights of the Kala Nag popularly known as Black peak.
Day 4 :Rainbasera to Ruinsara Tal (3,600 m); Trek 8 km/4-5 hrs.
Here you will experience a moderate ascent and get the opportunity to do camping near by the lake. You will get an opportunity to enjoy the striking sight of Ruinsara Tal which is surrounded by meadows
Day 5 :Ruinsara Tal to Odari (4,100 m); Trek 4km/3-4 hrs.
Ruinsara Tal to Odari, covering 4km by trekking. Camping at this altitude is completely a new experience that fewer treks offer. Here you will get steep and gradual mixed ascent, giving you a perfect experience of trekking. It said that Hanuman’s brother stayed for one night in Odari.
Day 6 :Odari to Base Camp (4680 m); Trek 4km/4-5hrs
Here you will enjoy a steep ascent & also walk on a mountain ridge. Here you will stay in a tent. This is the peak of the trek so you can carry your trekking gear. You will get an amazing view of silvery snowfield here.
Day 7 :Base Camp to Lower Dhamni (3400 m) via Bali pass (4940 m); Trek 12 km/7-8 hrs.
After the Bali pass, half of the trek is descent. From here you will get summit view of Bandarpoonch, Black peak, and also Yamunotri side. You will be given packed lunch on the way and the stay in a tent.
Day 8 :Lower Dhamni to Janki Chatti (2650 m) via Yamunotri; Trek 8km/6-7 hrs
From dhamni trek down to hold Yamunotri shrine which is considered as one of the Char Dhams of Uttarakhand. Here the trail is easy & well-defined. You will be given packed lunch for the trek.
Day 9 :Janki Chatti to Dehradun. Drive 180 Km/7-8 hrs.
End of trekking journey with lots of new experiences and life-long memories. You will be dropped from Janki Chatti to Dehradun.

Situated at the altitude of 16,200ft 60 km trek of Bali pass in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand is for the experienced trekkers, the ones who wants to challenge themselves and explore the less discovered places and lands untouched and roads less travelled. It has a challenge terrains, but is worth every piece of hardship. The main attractions of the trek is the alpine meadows, the Ruinsara lake is a special glacial lake, the ancient temples of Osla. It offers a complete view of Bandarpoonch, Kalanag and swargarohini peaks. It’s a challenging pass crossing from Har ki Dun valley to yamunotri. This one is said to be a stairway to heaven. Offering the ethereal serenity of the Ruinsara valley and the lush green meadows of the Devsu Thach. It could be visited all around the year but, the best time starts from Oct and continues till Nov to experience those peaks covered in a blanket of snow. To all the trekkers and nature lovers this one is a must for their life time experience.
