Kauri pass trek best winter trek. kauri pass trek which is one of the best winter treks lies south of the best Tibetan border begins from Joshi math in the Chamoli district of Himalayas. Kauri pass trek was explored by lord Curzon when the British ruled India. it is a perfect trek for beginners which lies in the Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 12561ft.
The kauri pass trek is typically a 5-6 days trek covering a total distance of around 33-35 kms. the best time to be of moderate difficulty level and can be done by beginners as well as experienced trekkers on this trek. you will also visit Auli, which is famous for its beautiful skiing slopes in the winter kauri pass.
The kauri pass trek is moderate difficult and suitable for both beginners and experienced trekkers. the trail involves a gradual ascent allowing trekkers to acclimatize to the high altitude
