  1. Keep your trekking gear essentials such as a wind-proof jacket, dry socks, and cap.
  2. Good quality footwear is also necessary
  3. Wear the right kind of socks with waterproof linings, if available.
  4. Build proper leg strength and simple gym training.
  5. Practice using your backpack and choose gently with adjustable straps while buying.
  6. Use a good quality walking pole for your Chopta-Tungnath trek.
  7. A water bottle for around 2 ltr for hydrating yourself regularly.
  8. Carry dry snacks/food from home, as there might be a less quantity of shops while on the trackway.
  9. Keep your luggage minimum, that will save your energy.
